At GELLNER we make
our own decisions. As a direct importer, we are there wherever pearls
are cultivated and auctioned. We assess and select the pearls with
our own experienced eyes. Usually it is the company’s proprietor himself,
Jörg Gellner, who is responsible for this task. Cultured pearls are
not normally purchased individually, but in whole parcels known as
“lots”. The cultured pearls are then sorted according to quality,
size, shape, luster, and color. The objective is the utmost quality
along with visual harmony. And this is dependent upon the experience
which we have gathered over the years |
